Digital Leaders 2024-2025
Our Digital Leaders are pupils who form part of the Digital Leaders’ Team within our school, their role is to support the use of technology across the school. They do a variety of jobs including:
- Help staff get computing equipment ready and set up (charging and setting up devices);
- Have a good understanding of how to stay safe with technology;
- Help to produce then deliver assemblies about online safety and acceptable use to others;
- Share their skills and expertise with other pupils, classes and teachers;
- Assist other pupils in understanding applications;
- Support the use of technology in the classroom by demonstrating how to use everyday programs (Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Publisher) in the classroom;
- Try out and review new apps, websites and programs which could be used in lessons;
- Attend training sessions;
- Organise and judge competitions;
- Help organise Safer Internet Day; and
- Lead the way for Millquarter as a Digital School of Distinction!
Our amazing Digital Leaders (with the help of some P7s and our ICT coordinator Mr McPeake,) led an assembly on ONLINE SAFETY today! 🌟💻
