What a fantastic morning we have had transforming our Outdoor Play area! Thank you to everyone who helped out this morning - Seana Anderson, Finola Swann, Ita Magill, Paul Hirst, Paul Murphy, Eunan Mc Kernan, Brigid Hannon, Andy Daniel, John McErlain, Niall Heaney, Paul Graham, Tony and Catherine Boyd, Bronagh and Pius Hamill and Carla and Frankie McFall.
We worked flat out from 11am until 3pm, stopping just in time for storm Ciara. We have managed to create 7 Play Zones and can't wait to see the reactions from the kids on Monday.
We would like to especially thank Eunan McKernan who not only helped out this morning but spent last weekend power washing the back yard, Eamonn OBoyle for removing old sandpits and trimming back a few trees earlier in the week, Darren McWilliams for transporting a load of stones on Friday evening, Carla and Martin McGrogan, Fionbarr Quinn and Ita Magill for their very generous monetary donations, Paul Murphy for creating a fantastic stage from pallets and our own Mrs Quinn for keeping us all working and providing some well deserved tea and treats at just the right time.
Please do not be offended if we have left anyone out, it was not intentional it has just been a very busy morning.
Thank you all very much again- the children are sure to enjoy their new play environment that you all helped to create.
